Remote Collection Specialist

About the role

Eandd is hiring a remote Collection Specialist to work with restaurant, franchise and QSR clients. The position is fully remote, with a Monday to Friday schedule of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time. Candidates are paid directly by the client, and the application includes a short Loom video response to interview questions.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone, email and text about past-due balances, secure payment or a firm commitment to pay, and follow up until the balance is resolved.
• Prioritize daily collection activities by account balance, aging and collection tasks, and track promises to pay.
• Run automated collections tasks in NetSuite or similar systems daily, including reminders and escalations, and keep tasks documented and closed.
• Verify and update billing and accounts payable contact details, research account information and coordinate account cleanups with the Accounting team.
• Help customers with online payments, resend invoices and statements, confirm payments received and route disputes, credit requests and payment plans to the right team.
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions in NetSuite and provide weekly reports on accounts worked, payments collected and accounts needing escalation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, billing or phone-based B2B customer service.
• Fluent English with a neutral, professional American accent and strong written English.
• Comfortable working the stated hours and with a quiet home workspace, reliable computer, headset and high-speed internet.
• Restaurant, franchise or QSR experience is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• NetSuite, an ERP, CRM or similar business system is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and workflows.
• Comfortable handling high-volume outbound calls and working independently in a remote setting.
