Sales Specialist - Substation Control Systems

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V. is looking for a Sales Specialist in Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico. The role combines face-to-face and/or remote sales to new or existing customers with business development for substation control and protection systems and telecommunications. Incumbents are paid according to the sales targets they achieve.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.
• Plan, develop and deliver the marketing strategy for products, services and their brands.
• Provide customer service and support, such as product and pricing information and help with billing, shipping, delivery and complaints.
• Develop business opportunities with end-users in the energy and heavy industry sectors and manage relationships with EPCs.
• Coordinate with front-end and sales teams, plan and run commercial strategies, map markets and gather business intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in related functions.
• Intermediate English level.
• Knowledge of the energy market (mandatory).
• Desirable: knowledge of the mining and oil and gas market, telecom experience (transmission, renewables), and experience managing EPCs and final accounts.
