Account Manager, Language Services (PCS)

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring an Account Manager for its Language Services team (Patient Centered Solutions, PCS) within the Client Management group. The role is client-facing and can be based in the office or remotely. You will act as the main point of contact for several key clients throughout the life of a project, coordinating Linguistic Validation and eCOA projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and offer appropriate solutions and quotes, including budgeting, proposal writing and timeline planning
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal teams and external parties
• Process requests autonomously using standard tools and quality processes, with a client-facing attitude
• Follow up projects administratively from launch to finalization
• Deliver finished products to the expected quality within set timelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a translation background is preferred
• Experience in the translation industry and in Linguistic Validation, eCOA or COA
• At least 3 years of experience in client services and account management
• Experience handling multiple, varied tasks at once, independently and collaboratively
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based

• MS Office Suite
• Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication and resolving client issues or complaints
• Attention to detail, process orientation and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of clinical outcomes assessments or linguistic validation is a plus
