SAP Lead Consultant

About the role

Viva, the leading ultra‑low‑cost airline in the Americas, is seeking an experienced SAP Lead Consultant to drive the evolution of its financial and business processes on SAP S/4HANA. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, external partners, and the IT team to ensure successful, compliant implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis, definition and documentation of functional business requirements.
• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA projects, initiatives and enhancements with implementation partners.
• Monitor incidents, developments and project plans, ensuring timely, in‑scope delivery.
• Validate that solutions meet both business and technical requirements.
• Oversee implementations to guarantee compliance with architecture, security and IT‑governance standards.
• Manage project handovers and system enhancements for smooth operational transition.
• Promote SAP as a strategic platform for financial process transformation.
• Support rollout of new SAP modules and functionalities as needs evolve.
• Communicate progress, milestones and incident status to stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to maximize SAP value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of experience implementing and evolving SAP solutions.
• Proven leadership of SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI, CO, TR, MM and HCM; Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) preferred.
• Experience with financial processes, accounting, treasury and IFRS 16.
• Experience managing technology consulting firms and external vendors.
• Solid understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and project‑management practices.
• Advanced English proficiency.
