Senior Account Executive

About the role

VTEX is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to drive enterprise SaaS sales across the Mexico market. This hunter‑focused position combines strategic outbound prospecting with full‑cycle sales, helping leading retailers, brands, manufacturers and distributors modernize their digital commerce operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to contract signature.
• Identify, research and engage target enterprise accounts via email, phone, LinkedIn, networking and events.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with revenue targets.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customers’ digital commerce strategies and technical environments.
• Deliver value‑based presentations together with Solution Engineers.
• Develop executive‑level relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events and account‑based initiatives.
• Partner with Commerce Engineers and Solution Architects for smooth post‑sale handoffs.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene and CRM updates.

Required profile

• Based in Mexico City and able to work onsite four days per week.
• Extensive experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, especially outbound prospecting.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota in high‑growth environments.
• Comfortable engaging VP‑level and C‑level executives.
• Consultative, curious and able to uncover complex business needs.
