Senior AWS Platform Engineer (Remote – LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to join our cloud engineering team on a fully remote basis within Mexico. You will design, build, and support cloud‑native platforms, working with containerized applications, a wide range of AWS services, and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS.
• Work with container platforms such as Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and OpenShift.
• Support and optimise microservices‑based applications.
• Create high‑level and low‑level solution design documentation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Assist with AWS cost modelling and cloud optimisation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and application issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS EKS, ECS, and OpenShift.
• Proven background working with microservices‑based applications.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
