Senior Director, Global Purchase-to-Pay & Business Services Site Lead

About the role

Elanco is seeking a senior leader to head its global Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) organization and serve as the site leader for the Global Business Services hub in Guadalajara, Mexico. The role combines strategic oversight of P2P processes with day‑to‑day site management, fostering a unified "One Elanco" culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global P2P operations, covering purchase order maintenance, invoice processing, payments and employee expense processing while meeting KPIs, SLAs and audit standards.
• Partner with the P2P Global Process Owner to drive end‑to‑end process improvements, organizational change, ERP system support, testing, controls and SOX compliance.
• Build and develop large, cross‑country teams, promoting high performance, engagement and a strong site identity.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, Facilities, Commercial and Manufacturing leaders to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Oversee Guadalajara site operations, including communications, leadership forums, budget management, workplace services and local compliance, acting as escalation point for critical matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in global business services, shared services or finance operations.
• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end Purchase‑to‑Pay functions and large, geographically dispersed teams.

Required skills

• Expertise with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls.
