Senior Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

Outsourcing Advantage is looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to take ownership of an AI‑generated bookkeeping platform and bring it to production. This is a temporary, remote position lasting about eight months, ideal for a self‑sufficient, solution‑oriented professional.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the existing system architecture, codebase and business logic.
• Identify and resolve technical, functional and financial data integrity issues.
• Design and implement scalable solutions to improve performance, reliability and usability.
• Prioritise development tasks and drive projects with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure accounting workflows, calculations, reports and outputs are accurate.
• Debug, refactor, optimise and enhance the existing codebase.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to guarantee software quality and financial data accuracy.
• Deliver a production‑ready platform.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Proven track record of owning software projects from planning through deployment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping workflows and financial reporting.
• Experience inheriting, reviewing and improving existing software applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and project‑management skills.
