Senior iOS Engineer – Fan & Staff Apps

About the role

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to lead the development of our Fan App (iPhone) and Staff App (iPad). You will design and implement features such as biometric entry, mobile ticketing, payments and real‑time loyalty rewards for live sporting events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of the Fan App (iPhone) and Staff App (iPad) iOS applications.
• Architect and implement new features including biometric enrollment, mobile ticketing, payments and loyalty rewards.
• Integrate and manage third‑party SDKs such as Ticketmaster, Adobe Experience Platform and Chase Payments.
• Implement Bluetooth Low Energy and Ultra‑Wideband connectivity for smart seat integration.
• Collaborate with backend teams to consume REST APIs and ensure state synchronization.
• Maintain high performance and reliability under event‑day conditions.
• Mentor junior iOS developers and conduct code reviews.
• Work with QA to establish test coverage using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Participate in cross‑functional pods with backend, Android and QA engineers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve the mobile codebase.
• Support TestFlight distribution, App Store releases and on‑call rotations for event‑day support.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Swift and UIKit.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating complex third‑party SDKs and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with reactive programming (Combine or RxSwift).
• Solid understanding of iOS state management, data persistence and debugging with Instruments.
• Experience with Core Bluetooth, BLE and familiarity with Ultra‑Wideband.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Fastlane) and App Store distribution processes.
• Proficient with Git (GitFlow preferred) and automated testing (XCTest, XCUITest).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
