About the role

Infosys is looking for a Senior Java Software Developer to join its Mexico City team. The role focuses on application‑layer development and user‑interface implementation for both web and mobile web applications, delivering high‑quality solutions for global clients.

Key responsibilities

Translate functional product requirements into robust application‑layer code.
Convert visual designs into responsive user interfaces for traditional web applications.
Develop and maintain large‑scale Java applications using Spring, JPA, JSF and related technologies.
Design, implement, and consume SOAP and REST APIs.
Perform performance optimisation, architecture design, and code reviews.
Contribute to cloud‑technology policies, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure high test coverage using unit, integration and contract tests.

Required profile

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing enterprise Java applications.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
Experience with Agile development and DevOps pipelines.
Leadership or project‑lead experience is a plus.
