Senior Medical Science Liaison (Mexico)

About the role

The leading global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join its Medical Affairs team in Mexico. This field‑based position will be based in Mexico City and will involve national travel to engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and support the launch and lifecycle management of innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the medical strategy for assigned therapeutic areas.
• Generate and communicate valuable field insights to internal teams.
• Act as the scientific partner for external stakeholders, including KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams at local and regional levels.
• Support product launch activities and ongoing lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) – mandatory.
• Previous experience as an MSL or Senior MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong track record of engaging KOLs and delivering high‑quality scientific exchange.
• Experience supporting product launches is highly valued.
• Exposure to specialty therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, neuroscience, metabolic, or other innovative therapies is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel across Mexico.
