Senior SDET – GovTech (Mexico City)

About the role

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a new engineering team supporting a portfolio of more than 20 SaaS products for a public‑sector client. Based in Mexico City, the role focuses on expanding automated test coverage, improving system reliability and boosting developer confidence through high‑quality unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests for multiple SaaS applications.
• Increase test coverage, identify quality risks and reduce flaky tests.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure and data layers.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve testability and CI/CD pipeline stability.
• Define and propagate scalable testing standards, tools and best practices across the product suite.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in C#.
• Proven track record developing automated unit and integration tests.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts including mocking and test isolation.
• Ability to work independently and mentor others in test engineering.
