Senior Tax Analyst – Bilingual (Hybrid, Mexico City)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team in Mexico City. The role combines tax expertise with strong analytical and technical skills to support indirect tax reporting across multiple business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support and test system configurations and build data validation processes for indirect tax rules.
• Test new and existing features in in‑house financial reporting tools, identify bugs and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on system testing, data sharing and tax reporting projects.
• Develop automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of global tax reporting and system monitoring.
• Acquire, analyze and report data from various business units, including Mobility and Delivery.
• Build and test SQL reports to meet country‑specific tax and data reporting requirements.
• Produce periodic reports and statistical analyses using programming skills to support business decisions.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional experience in industry or practice.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for indirect tax rules and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Critical thinker, detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or another object‑oriented programming language.
• Solid SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
• Advanced MS Excel and overall MS Office skills.
• Experience handling large datasets and performing complex analyses.
