Senior Vue.js Web Developer

About the role

As a Senior Vue.js Web Developer at Capgemini, you will design and build modern, scalable, and secure web applications using Vue.js and related technologies. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define front‑end architecture, drive technical decisions, and deliver high‑quality software that aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop user‑facing applications with Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build scalable front‑end architectures and reusable component libraries from scratch.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Monitor security updates, address vulnerabilities, and recommend upgrades.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support testing activities throughout the SDLC.

Required profile

• 4+ years of web application development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience building applications with Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and CSS preprocessors (Sass or Less).
• Experience designing front‑end architecture and reusable components.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
