SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to support our agency and client accounts on an hourly or project basis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and on‑page SEO expertise, be able to analyze websites independently, and translate findings into actionable strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical and on‑page SEO audits, reviewing site architecture, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, redirects, canonical tags, metadata, structured data, page speed, and Core Web Vitals.
• Perform keyword research, search‑intent analysis, and competitive gap assessments to develop actionable SEO recommendations and content briefs.
• Create client‑friendly SEO reports, track organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Stay current with evolving search trends, including AI‑driven search experiences, LLMs, and Generative Engine Optimization.

Required profile

• 2+ years of SEO experience, with strong technical and on‑page optimization knowledge.
• Proven ability to produce SEO audits and client‑facing reports.
• Familiarity with local SEO concepts and common CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify) is a plus.

• Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4
• SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
• Schema/structured data implementation
• Keyword research and search‑intent analysis
• Technical SEO factors: crawlability, indexation, internal linking, redirects, canonicalization
• Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify)
• Understanding of AI search, LLM optimization, Generative Engine Optimization
