SEO Specialist (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Specialist to own the organic search performance for a portfolio of high‑growth automotive clients. The role is fully remote and operates in a performance‑driven agency environment where data, testing and strategic thinking are key to delivering measurable traffic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organic growth across multiple client websites through on‑page SEO, technical optimization, keyword strategy and site‑structure improvements.
• Conduct in‑depth keyword research, competitor analysis and comprehensive SEO audits to uncover opportunities and resolve technical issues.
• Analyze performance data using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog and Google Business Profile to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and implement internal linking strategies, address keyword cannibalisation and optimise content architecture.
• Design and execute Local SEO tactics, including Google Maps optimisation and visibility on local and AI‑driven search surfaces.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, developers and other SEO peers to test ideas, improve deliverables and optimise campaign performance.
• Communicate SEO insights to clients, translate business goals into effective strategies and stay up‑to‑date with algorithm updates and industry trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SEO experience with proven ranking and traffic improvements.
• At least 2 years in a client‑facing SEO role within an agency setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adapt strategies.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
