Shipping Supervisor

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, is looking for a Shipping Supervisor. You will oversee the shipping department so that all shipping operations run efficiently and accurately, while maintaining service standards and following company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff on shipping procedures and service standards.
• Monitor shipping quality and customer satisfaction, and address issues as they arise.
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure the availability of items needed for shipping.
• Coordinate staff schedules to optimise delivery and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing shipping improvements and process optimisations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse management.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software.
• Experience with shipping management systems.
