Warehouse Superintendent F1

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, is looking for a Warehouse Superintendent. The role supervises warehouse staff and daily activities, manages warehouse productivity and coordinates the receipt, storage and delivery of goods and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze shipment logs and review the timeliness of scheduled deliveries
• Track inventory levels and order new supplies in a timely manner
• Improve processes, suggest productivity improvements and optimize employee workflow
• Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs
• Ensure facility equipment is properly maintained
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers
• Track expenses related to fuel, storage and truck maintenance
• Prepare reports on receiving activities as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, marketing or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Good computer skills and strong attention to detail, math and multitasking skills
• Preferred: manufacturing experience (HVAC a plus), strong root cause analysis skills, superior MS Office skills, English at 50%
