Social & Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Social & Community Manager to lead our day‑to‑day social media activity and foster genuine engagement with our audiences. The role sits at the intersection of digital culture, content creation and real‑time conversation, ensuring our brand voice is authentic and inclusive.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the brand’s social media presence across platforms on a daily basis.
• Plan, maintain and update the content calendar.
• Create and publish brand‑aligned posts, stories and other formats.
• Monitor trends, conversations and emerging topics relevant to the brand.
• Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages in real time.
• Identify and act on real‑time engagement opportunities while escalating sensitive issues with sound judgment.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy and media teams to align content and campaigns.
• Support paid‑media amplification and track its performance.
• Analyze social metrics, generate reports and optimise the strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media or community management, preferably in an agency or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong writing ability with the capacity to adapt tone to different audiences and platforms.
• Deep understanding of internet culture, platform behaviours and diverse online communities, including LGBTQ+ audiences.
• Proven experience handling real‑time conversations, including sensitive or high‑context topics.
• Ability to spot trends early and act quickly while maintaining brand consistency.
• Excellent attention to detail and capability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
