Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our local social media operations in Mexico. You will shape the brand’s online presence, develop a localized content strategy, and drive audience engagement across major digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute localized social media strategies on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
• Create monthly content calendars aligned with branding and campaign goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day publishing schedules, community interaction, and online reputation.
• Collaborate with design, branding, and marketing teams to produce localized UGC, trend‑based, educational, and campaign storytelling content.
• Support influencer, KOL/KOC, and creator collaborations.
• Analyze platform performance, audience behavior, and campaign effectiveness, delivering regular reports and actionable insights.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes, social trends, and competitive activities in Mexico.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in social media, digital or content marketing.
• Deep understanding of Mexican internet culture, social trends, and platform behaviors.
• Proven track record managing brand social media accounts at scale.
• Experience in fintech, lifestyle, consumer internet or startup environments is a plus.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Excellent communication, project management, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
