Software Developer (.NET) - Programmer Analyst II

About the role

Jabil is looking for a Software Developer to join its team in Chihuahua, Mexico. The role covers analyzing business requirements and designing, developing, testing and maintaining enterprise applications that support critical business operations and integrate with multiple systems and services. It suits a proactive problem solver who works well with cross-functional teams and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, debug and implement new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
• Maintain, support and improve existing applications for optimal performance and reliability.
• Integrate applications with multiple systems and consume RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot software and production issues using logs and monitoring tools, and support end users and IT teams.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, specifications, test cases and user documentation.
• Follow software development standards and participate in all SDLC phases in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software application development.
• Experience building enterprise web applications with Microsoft technologies and integrating with cloud and on-premises systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• C#.NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, Angular, HTML and CSS.
• Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, relational database design and advanced SQL.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar), SonarQube/SonarCloud, xUnit/NUnit/MSTest.
• Preferred: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.), Node.js, Mendix.
