Sommelier

About the role
The Sommelier will deliver exceptional wine service to guests and associates within the Food and Beverage department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Listen to guests' needs, provide empathetic and personalized wine recommendations.
- Execute food and beverage service sequences, adapting to each guest's preferences.
- Manage stock control, perform daily cellar duties, and handle weekly wine purchases as required.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the wine list, including locations, characteristics, and pairing with restaurant cuisines.
- Conduct staff training on wine service when requested by the Wine Director or Restaurant Manager.
- Update the wine list daily to reflect any changes.
Required profile
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Sommelier diploma or certification.
- Proven experience as a Sommelier or Wine Steward.
- Strong sales and customer‑service orientation.
