Talent Specialist – LATAM Recruiting

About the role

We’re hiring a Talent Specialist to build our talent engine across LATAM. This is a sourcing‑heavy, high‑ownership role responsible for finding the people Hilbert needs across engineering, AI/ML, product, GTM, growth, operations, and more.

Key responsibilities

• Build LATAM talent pipelines from the ground up and own proactive sourcing across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile and beyond.
• Source for a wide range of functions – software engineering, AI/ML, product, GTM, growth, operations and corporate roles.
• Turn hiring needs into sourcing strategies quickly: map markets, identify talent pools and deliver qualified candidates.
• Find exceptional passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, communities, referrals and other effective channels.
• Write and test outreach messaging, track response rates and continuously improve targeting.
• Build talent maps for difficult, business‑critical searches and conduct recruiter screens.
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate searches, challenge unrealistic requirements and use market data to improve decisions.
• Own candidate momentum from first outreach through interview and help close hires while tracking funnel metrics.
• Develop market intelligence on talent availability, compensation, competitors and candidate behavior across LATAM.
• Identify and improve recruiting processes that slow down hiring.

Required profile

• Hands‑on recruiting and sourcing experience across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru and Chile.
• A sourcer at heart with a proven track record of engaging passive talent.
• Demonstrated success in cracking difficult searches and adapting quickly to new profiles.
• Strong market research skills: identify relevant companies, talent pools and turn research into pipelines.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter and going beyond basic keyword searches.
• Highly resourceful, urgent and able to manage multiple searches independently.
• Confident in challenging hiring managers and bringing data‑driven insights.
• Focus on quality and speed – relevance over volume.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (professional level).
