Tax Accountant – Tax Compliance & Transfer Pricing

About the role

The Tax Accountant will support Jabil’s global tax function by ensuring accurate tax compliance, accounting, and transfer pricing across multiple jurisdictions. The role combines technical tax work with process improvement, requiring strong analytical abilities and independent execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for Mexico and other specified jurisdictions.
• Calculate income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
• Identify efficiencies in tax preparation and information‑gathering processes.
• Conduct tax research for return items and special projects.
• Seek tax‑saving opportunities and collaborate with management to implement approved strategies.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and analysis, applying international tax principles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on tax‑related projects and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax law changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ASC 740 tax provision standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience using tax compliance and accounting software.
