Tax Compliance Associate

About the role

PwC Mexico is hiring a Tax Compliance Associate in Guadalajara. The Associate supports clients with tax return preparation, reviews financial data and helps track compliance with tax laws and regulations within the Tax Services practice. The role involves learning new processes, adapting to changing assignments and delivering reliable work in a fast-paced environment with varied client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax return workpapers and supporting schedules for corporate tax compliance engagements
• Analyze financial data, account balances and source documentation to identify tax reporting items and filing requirements
• Draft tax forms, calculations and supporting files for review by senior team members
• Research tax law, regulations and filing rules to support compliance work and answer client questions
• Reconcile tax data with financial records and track open items across return preparation tasks
• Organize client information, maintain workpapers and document assumptions used in tax filings
• Use tax compliance systems and digital tools to process data, record updates and support filing deadlines
• Build commercial awareness through exposure to multiple clients, industries and tax compliance issues

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's degree
• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Experience applying tax compliance knowledge across consumer client engagements is a plus
