Vice President, Services Business Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President of Services Business Development to lead growth initiatives for a strategic financial institution portfolio. The role focuses on building senior client relationships, identifying cross‑sell and upsell opportunities across Mastercard’s Services suite, and delivering sustainable revenue growth while acting as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Own the services growth strategy for a strategic client portfolio and meet annual revenue, pipeline, and growth targets.
• Identify, develop, and close opportunities across Consulting, Analytics, Loyalty, and Security Solutions.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations, contract processes, and solution development.
• Build and maintain senior executive relationships across payments, digital, risk, marketing, and product functions.
• Develop multi‑year account growth plans aligned with client and Mastercard strategic priorities.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle, maintain accurate pipeline and forecast, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven executive presence with experience in consultative selling and strategic account management.
• Strong cross‑functional leadership ability to coordinate solution development, pricing, and approvals.
• Ability to translate client priorities into actionable growth initiatives and anticipate emerging needs.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth in a B2B services environment.
