Workday HCM Business Analyst

About the role

The Workday HCM Business Analyst will join Genpact’s HR Technology team to support a major US client. Based in Guadalajara, the analyst will work closely with HR, IT and external partners to configure, enhance and maintain Workday Human Capital Management solutions, ensuring stable production operations and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HR stakeholders (Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, Compliance) to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules, including business processes, security roles, condition rules and calculated fields.
• Collaborate with integration partners and adjacent systems such as ServiceNow, SuccessFactors and payroll/benefits vendors.
• Lead functional, system integration and user acceptance testing for Workday changes.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination and post‑release validation while adhering to SDLC and audit standards.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot process failures, data issues and integration errors, and drive root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Workday HCM configuration and support.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to engage HR business partners.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams and managing integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
