Junior SDET (Remote)

About the role

Join BairesDev as a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and apply your coding and testing fundamentals to build and run automated tests for a variety of software applications. This remote position offers hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for multiple applications.
• Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and report defects to developers.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in test automation.
• Collaborate with developers to embed test automation into the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain test environments and test data.
• Assist in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in software testing or development.
• Good understanding of test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Cypress, or Java.
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Experience in bug tracking and reporting.
• Advanced level of English.
