Restaurant Runner

About the role

The Runner supports the restaurant team by ensuring smooth service flow, from delivering dishes to guests to clearing tables efficiently. This on‑site position works in a luxury hotel environment, interacting directly with guests and staff to maintain high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and assist with seating.
• Take orders and input them into the restaurant system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Collect used plates, glasses, and cutlery, and transport them to the kitchen.
• Set up and reset tables for service, ensuring proper placement of linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Monitor assigned tables throughout the shift to address guest needs.

Required profile

• Completed high school education or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and guest‑service skills.
