Associate, Market Access Consulting

About the role

As a core member of the Market Access Strategy Consulting team, Associates execute high-quality quantitative analytics to answer client business questions and build Market Access strategies. They work under the guidance of senior team members but contribute early to client engagements, working directly with senior leaders on projects, thought leadership and professional development. The position is based in the Mexico City office on a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic analysis using big data assets to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations for clients
• Conduct primary (qualitative) and secondary (quantitative) research on markets, payers, physicians, patients and competitive products
• Take part in internal brainstorming, collaborate with the project team and use informed business judgement to choose the best approach
• Develop predictive models for contracting strategies, patient cost and affordability programs, prescriber/product utilization and brand performance and financial modelling
• Turn analyses into clear conclusions delivered through reports, presentations and other tools
• Prepare for internal and client meetings and communicate progress, assumptions and limitations proactively
• Apply quality control tools and standards consistently and manage time and deadlines

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record (GPA 3.5/4 or higher); fields such as biology, economics, finance, business, healthcare management and policy, public health or international relations are preferred
• Excellent conversational and business English, written and oral
• Good project management, time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel less than 10% on average
