Business Development Representative Internship

About the role

Critical Manufacturing is looking for a motivated, results-oriented Junior Business Development Representative to start a career in sales and business development. The role generates new business opportunities and acts as the first point of contact with potential clients. It works closely with the Sales team to identify prospects, qualify leads and grow the sales pipeline. English is mandatory because interaction with international clients or teams is part of daily work.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new potential clients actively (outbound and inbound)
• Research and analyse target accounts and contacts
• Reach out to prospects by phone, email, LinkedIn or other channels
• Qualify leads against predefined criteria
• Enter and update data accurately in the CRM
• Schedule meetings for the sales team and follow up with prospects promptly
• Report daily and weekly activities and results

Required profile

• Advanced spoken and written English, suitable for calls, emails and meetings
• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Marketing, Business, International Relations or a related field
• Availability to work with objectives and performance metrics (KPIs)

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication, persuasion and negotiation
• Strong organisation and time management
• Ability to handle objections and rejection professionally
• Quickly learns and uses technological tools (CRMs, prospecting platforms) and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot
