Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Buyer to manage the purchase of international commodities, supplies and contracting services for Epta. The role ensures compliance with laws, company policies and delivers cost‑effective solutions while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase international commodities, supplies and contracting services.
• Execute purchasing activities in line with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with suppliers to optimise quality, cost and service.
• Review and manage purchase requisitions, quotations, contracts and agreements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Track order status, follow up deliveries and resolve issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procurement records, including supplier lead times and product data.
• Submit deviation requests for delivery, BOM errors or inventory adjustments.
• Process workflows within 30 days and monitor plant shortage reports weekly.
• Achieve assigned KPIs and create action plans as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
• Proficient English (minimum B2) for business communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word.
