Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Epta is seeking a proactive Buyer to manage the acquisition of international commodities, supplies, and contracting services. You will ensure purchasing activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards while supporting the company’s growth and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase international commodities, supplies, and contracting services.
• Execute purchasing activities in line with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure quality, cost‑effective solutions.
• Review and manage purchase requisitions, quotations, contracts, and agreements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Track order status, follow up on deliveries, and resolve any issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procurement records, including supplier lead times and product data.
• Submit deviation requests for delivery, BOM errors, or inventory adjustments.
• Monitor KPIs, create action plans, and report on plant shortage updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in administration, business, trade, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation and business‑level English (B2).

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word.
