Controlling Manager | Head of Department

About the role

Bosch is looking for a Controlling Manager to lead plant controlling activities at the Querétaro plant, directly and/or through the controlling team. The role covers budgeting, financial reporting, cost planning and investment analysis, acting as a business partner to the plant departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coach controlling team members to support their professional development.
• Propose major corporate economic strategies, objectives and policies to management, and suggest changes to existing corporate programmes.
• Lead and coordinate Ratio Project Planning activities aimed at target cost structures.
• Oversee the preparation of budgets, including supporting documentation and argumentation.
• Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting the company's financial position (income, expenses, earnings) through Monthly Business Reports, Current Forecasts and Business Plans.
• Handle investment calculations for Querétaro plant projects, especially acquisitions, and prepare long-term cost simulations.
• Review the organization's financial status and programme performance, with expertise in the maquiladora concept.
• Determine depreciation rates for capital assets and advise on operational adjustments based on cost performance or tax code updates.
• Act as a business partner to all Querétaro departments and take on special tasks or projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in finance/controlling within an industrial setting.
• Advanced English and Spanish.
