Customs Brokerage Specialist (Glosador)

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Customs Brokerage Specialist to join its Mexico City team. The role focuses on creating, auditing, and processing customs documentation for import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and audit pedimentos in the MASL system for each shipment.
• Verify commercial documents and identify errors before payment.
• Process pedimento payments and generate related spreadsheets.
• Maintain accurate data entry and track customs files throughout the workflow.
• Communicate with overseas partners, respond to internal and external inquiries, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow company training requirements and uphold Expeditors’ cultural attributes.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of customs brokerage processes and related systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of both import and export regulations, including OEA and customer-specific requirements.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
