About the role
The Director, Growth & Business Intelligence for Mexico & Central America will lead data‑driven strategies to boost growth and profitability for the Architectural Coating business. Reporting to the Global Head of Business Intelligence, you will be based in Mexico City and work closely with senior leaders across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue and protect gross‑profit stability.
- Leverage consumer insights and data intelligence to optimize omnichannel marketing campaigns for higher ROI, brand awareness, and market share.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and S&T leaders to embed data insights throughout the business lifecycle.
- Oversee creation of advanced data models and self‑service dashboards that enable fast, accurate executive decision‑making.
- Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor pricing to identify future value‑add opportunities.
- Direct operational and financial analyses related to cost risk, inflation, spend, and efficiency improvements.
- Establish data‑governance frameworks to ensure data reliability and resource optimization.
- Drive change‑management initiatives, including training and communication, to embed data narratives across the region.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team, setting professional development plans and quarterly reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Executive‑level proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- 12+ years of experience designing and implementing marketing strategies, with a strong track record of using data and analytics to inform decisions.
- Demonstrated ability in data‑driven decision‑making, analytical thinking, executive leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent stakeholder communication, project and change‑management skills, and a proactive professional drive.
