Director, Organizational Development

About the role

The Director, Organizational Development partners with the VP of Organizational Development to build and deliver OD and change management capabilities across Levi Strauss & Co. based in Mexico City. This senior role blends strategy implementation with hands‑on execution, shaping processes, tools, and governance for a complex, matrixed global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the VP in developing OD methodology, frameworks, and tools, owning specific components and establishing scalable ways of working.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to assess organizational health, identify gaps, and lead end‑to‑end org‑design and operating‑model projects.
• Design governance models, decision‑rights frameworks, and operating norms to help leaders navigate structural complexity.
• Translate complex organizational problems into clear problem statements, business cases, and recommendations for senior decision‑makers.
• Facilitate leadership alignment and team‑effectiveness interventions, including diagnostics, workshops, and post‑change team resets.
• Continuously assess and improve OD programs, creating feedback loops that strengthen the function.
• Build change‑management capability by owning methodology components, tools, and templates, and socializing a shared framework.
• Develop and lead change‑management strategies for major initiatives such as operating‑model shifts and enterprise transformations.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in Organizational Development and Change Management.
• Strong judgment and ability to translate strategic direction into tangible programs.
• Experience partnering with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale org‑design and transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for leadership alignment.
