General Manager – Riviera Maya Resort Complex

About the role

Bahia Principe is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead its Riviera Maya Complex, a portfolio of five all‑inclusive hotels. You will be responsible for steering the entire operation, ensuring brand standards, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences across the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of all five hotels, ensuring consistent execution of standards.
• Own full P&L responsibility, driving results through budgeting, forecasting, and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement commercial and revenue strategies, monitoring occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and identifying growth opportunities.
• Maintain high guest‑satisfaction levels and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgeting cycles, financial closings and operational KPIs to support strategic decisions.
• Lead CapEx and investment projects aligned with business priorities.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, ESG commitments, safety policies and internal procedures.
• Represent the complex with owners and key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships.
• Build, coach and develop multi‑disciplinary teams, promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• University degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field; postgraduate degree a plus.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader in large‑scale resort or all‑inclusive hotel operations.
• Demonstrated full P&L management with a track record of driving profitability.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, commercial and revenue management.
• Experience managing multi‑unit operations and diverse teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional language is a plus.
