HR Business Partner

About the role

Blend, an AI services provider, is building a new office in Mexico and seeks an experienced HR Business Partner. The role blends strategic partnership with day‑to‑day HR operations, supporting leaders and employees as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle for the Mexico operations, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Partner with business leaders and the global People Operations team on talent strategy, organizational design, succession planning and retention.
• Design and champion culture initiatives that reinforce Blend values and promote belonging.
• Lead employee engagement, performance and development conversations with empathy and business acumen.
• Provide coaching and frameworks to managers to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
• Administer benefits, compensation and payroll coordination; serve as the primary point of contact for benefits queries.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensure HRIS data integrity and keep HR policies compliant with Mexican labor regulations.
• Coordinate with external HR service providers as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a fast‑growing, technology‑focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, start‑up setting and to build HR processes from the ground up.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative approach.
