Key Account Manager - Electrification

About the role

ABB is hiring a Key Account Manager for its Electrification business in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Mexico. The role leads small and medium volume accounts, coordinating with the organization from forecast through product delivery, and reporting to the Sales Support Manager - Customer Support. The work model is hybrid: four days in the office and one day working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the backlog so customers receive accurate, timely delivery information and volumes meet ABB quality standards.
• Own communication with internal and external stakeholders and lead the resolution of customer issues.
• Build long-term customer relationships and coordinate continuous improvement of processes, guidelines, tools and templates.
• Manage post-sales and customer claims, working with the factories using quality tools.
• Handle customer requests such as special products, order completion, expediting, cancellations, tracking and account blocks, and coordinate with the relevant teams.
• Collect forecasts with customers and sales, and act on them with the RDC and feeder factories.
• Ensure the finance process is executed properly and that account performance follows the KPIs, with reports and follow-up on open actions.
• Visit feeder and customer factories, attend or set up quarterly business reviews, and prepare executive summaries for internal leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, project management, planning, operations and customer service.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability to travel to the United States.
