Procurement and Logistics Specialist

About the role

ABB is hiring a Procurement and Logistics Specialist in Apodaca, Mexico, within its Electrification Business. The position reports to the Procurement Team Lead and ensures the implementation, maintenance and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities in the Procurement function. It is a hybrid role.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned activities according to ABB standard procedures.
• Deliver and participate in training programs as required to ensure compliance and foster professional development.
• Execute purchasing and logistics strategies that optimize the cost, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Design and implement plans and strategies for local sourcing of products and materials to reach business targets.
• Support the implementation of local sourcing strategies aligned with business strategy, for current and future needs.
• Apply procurement standards, tools and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Recent graduate or 1 year of experience in similar positions.
• Advanced English level.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to manage priorities and collaborate in multicultural environments.
