Master Scheduler Leader

About the role

This Master Scheduler Leader position reports to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager and contributes to the ELSB Transformers Business Line. It is based in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and is an onsite role; global relocation or long-term assignment support is not considered. The role converts supply plans into executable master production schedules, balancing customer demand, production capacity and inventory targets to ensure on-time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on forecasts, incoming volume and capacity, aligned with business plans and customer demand.
• Maintain planning parameters in ERP systems such as SAP to support accurate and efficient planning.
• Work with Customer Service and Material Planners to align delivery commitments and turn supply plans into production schedules.
• Manage MRP exception messages and coordinate with local and regional teams to resolve planning issues.
• Provide input to S&OP and short-term planning, identifying risks and capacity constraints.
• Drive schedule stability and proactively identify risks affecting customer deliveries, inventory levels and production performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Production Planning, Master Scheduling or Supply Chain Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of supply chain and production planning processes.
• Experience supporting material or production planning teams in implementing new processes, systems or planning tools.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP or equivalent) is a plus.

Required skills

• MRP/MPS planning and capacity management.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
