Regional Sales Director LATAM – Dietary Supplement Ingredients

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director for Latin America to drive growth of our client’s B2B business in dietary supplement ingredients. The role will be based in Mexico City with a remote work arrangement and will involve extensive travel across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 3‑5 year sales strategy for LATAM, focusing on Mexico and Brazil.
• Lead market entry planning for secondary markets such as Colombia, Chile, Peru and Argentina.
• Own regional revenue targets and profitability across the full product portfolio.
• Manage pricing strategy and commercial terms to optimise gross margin while staying competitive.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with the top 35‑40 strategic accounts in Mexico and Brazil, including multinational dietary supplement manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and functional food/beverage brands.
• Conduct product presentations, technical seminars and formulation workshops with customer R&D, marketing and procurement teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Nutrition, Food Science or a related field.
• 15+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in science‑backed health ingredients.
• Proven track record of managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience navigating diverse regulatory environments.
