Reinsurance Accounting and Claims Senior Analyst

About the role

Guy Carpenter, a business of Marsh, is hiring a full-time hybrid Reinsurance Accounting and Claims Senior Analyst based in Mexico City. The role covers financial statements, accounting, premium and claim processing and collections, and requires accuracy and compliance in all financial and claims-related processes. It is primarily office-based, with some flexible work-from-home days.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial statements and perform premium and claims processing
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial and claims processes
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients and markets
• Follow up on ongoing activities
• Mentor colleagues and deliver high-quality client service

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the reinsurance industry
• 2 to 3 years of experience in treaty reinsurance
• Knowledge of US market regulations in reinsurance, proportional and non-proportional reinsurance, and familiarity with contract law and regulatory controls
• Knowledge of slips (claims from various reinsurers)
• Excellent written and spoken English
