Restaurant Hostess – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a personable Restaurant Hostess to join the dining team at One&Only Mandarina, a luxury resort in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. The role involves greeting guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service, and creating memorable, personalized experiences in a high‑end restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests promptly and courteously, managing reservations and walk‑ins.
• Set up the restaurant before service, including table arrangements and equipment checks.
• Stay informed of daily specials, menu items, and wine selections to answer guest queries.
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to meet guest needs and handle special requests.
• Maintain accurate records during end‑shift cashiering and assist with monthly inventory procedures.
• Support the implementation of new menus and assist with deep‑cleaning tasks as required.

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including meal periods and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
