About the role
The Junior ABAP Developer will join the Manufacturing IT Team responsible for SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) within KION Group IT. The role focuses on ABAP development and support for the production SAP PP area and contributes to the new IT Service Hub in Monterrey.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and support SAP PP solutions for production plants.
- Provide 2nd‑level support for applications used by the production area.
- Resolve incidents, create workarounds, and implement changes to existing solutions.
- Propose technical solutions following SAP best practices.
- Participate in projects within the responsibility area and create system documentation for training and operations.
Required profile
- Proven ability to deliver SAP PP support and development.
- Experience handling incident resolution and providing user training.
Required skills
- ABAP programming
- SAP Production Planning (PP) module
- SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module
- Understanding of SAP best practice development standards
