Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Finance & Administration, Accounts Payable (AP 4A), based in Guadalajara. The role covers the end-to-end processing of vendor invoices, voucher preparation and vendor reconciliation, with a hybrid work arrangement and a day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices and verify financial data for accounts payable records
• Process invoices with and without purchase orders, and review them and requisitions for payment approval
• Check vendor files for previous payments, prepare vouchers with invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding, and assign voucher numbers
• Verify and calculate extensions and totals on invoices, including applicable discounts
• Handle non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country and ensure quality of AP processes
• Manage vendor reconciliation, the vendor payment cycle, GR/IR reconciliations and vendor advances
• Identify and implement AP improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Accounts Payable certification (F-Tec), CFA (Skillab), CPA (Perfekt Szolnok) or CTP (Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje)
• English at upper-intermediate level (B2)
