Specialist - F&A - R2R - External Reporting

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Financial Accounting and Reporting (F&A), R2R, External Reporting, level 4B, based in Mexico City. The role covers the preparation and review of external financial statements and supports external audits, with a hybrid work arrangement and a day shift.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review external financial statements in compliance with GAAP, IFRS and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and support external audit processes by providing accurate, timely and complete documentation to auditors.
• Analyze financial data to identify key trends, variances and improvement opportunities in reporting processes.
• Support the design, testing and implementation of internal controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to explain financial performance and reporting outcomes.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy and timeliness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance.
• Certifications such as CFA, CPA or CMA are listed among the qualifications.
• English at upper-intermediate (B2) level is required.
