Tax Accountant

About the role

Cadencia is seeking a dedicated Tax Accountant to join its high‑touch, client‑facing team. You will be responsible for preparing individual, C/S corporation, and fiduciary tax returns while collaborating in a remote‑first environment that values innovation, teamwork, and proactive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate individual, business (C/S Corp), and fiduciary tax returns.
• Participate in weekly team huddles, daily status updates, and celebrate team wins.
• Maintain professional communication with high‑end clients.
• Manage document workflows, sign‑offs, and related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proven experience in U.S. tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and fiduciaries.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client‑facing interactions.
• Ability to work within the Pacific Time Zone with flexible scheduling.
• Commitment to data security and confidentiality.

Required skills

• CCH Access (tax software).
• Caseware for document management.
• Blue Beam for PDF handling (preferred).
• Office 365, Harness Wealth, Harvest (training provided).
• SharePoint for paperless, server‑less remote data management.
