Senior Buyer – Procurement for US QSR Chain

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join a well‑established procurement team that supplies a major U.S. quick‑service restaurant chain. Based in Mexico City, you will support a senior leader to ensure continuous, competitively priced product supply across an international supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Source, monitor, and manage supply of assigned product categories, guaranteeing no gaps in availability.
• Build pricing models, calculate formulas, and maintain compliance with established pricing procedures.
• Run ad‑hoc reports and LC analysis models using internal systems and BI tools.
• Manage supplier and distributor relationships, track KPIs, and lead disruption recovery when needed.
• Coordinate new product launches and promotional rollouts with internal teams and external partners.
• Support franchisee needs, including semi‑annual visits and issue resolution.
• Assist in preparing internal committee materials and cross‑functional reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, detail‑driven environment.
• Experience in food, packaging, or consumer goods supply chains is a major plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
